BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Tanesh Ayyalu grew up in multiple parts of the United States of America before moving to India to complete my medical educa on at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences in Kochi, Kerala. After attaining his M.B.B.S in 2018, he moved to Dallas, Texas where he volunteered for the medically underserved in free clinics while working as a cardiac outcomes research associate at Baylor Heart Hospital, Plano. He also expanded medical horizons by being commissioned as a Captain in the U.S. Air Force Reserves. He then matched into Internal Medicine Residency at LIJ Forest Hills - Northwell in 2020 and began his training amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Finishing in 2023, he wanted to pursue his passion for cardiology and began an Advanced Cardiac Imaging Fellowship within Northwell focused on cardiac CT, cardiac MRI and echocardiography. He is planning to start a Cardio-Oncology Fellowship at Georgetown, Washington D.C in July 2024 and eventually a general cardiology Fellowship.
